Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Assist with marketing, selling and cross-selling professional services for all disciplines and office locations
Assist Project Manager to establish new and maintain existing relationships with clients, subcontractors, etc.
Attend required project meetings
Provide hydrogeologic and geologic practice in the areas of environmental assessments, remedial investigations, hydrogeologic monitoring, and groundwater supply development.
Prepare Federal and State regulatory permit applications
Perform site investigations, construction observation and field reconnaissance
Prioritize and manage multiple clients/projects
Bachelors Degree in Geology or related area
Licensed Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania
8-12 years of experience in hydrogeology, environmental investigations and related fields.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Some experience with overseeing and training support staff
Organized and detailed oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrates the highest degree of ethical behavior and candor
Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the ability to compose letters and complex reports and to orally communicate technical information to others in public presentations
Proficiency in field methods
Ability to interact with Federal, State & Local government agencies and officials
Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
Able to perform in an environment that requires independent evaluation, judgment and decision making
Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate with others to explore alternative solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD preferred.
Essential Position Requirements:
Occasional regional travel required possible overnight
Ability to work additional and/or nonstandard office hours, as required
Must have working vehicle
Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs. of equipment
Ability to walk through brush, up hills, etc.
Attendance at professional seminars and networking events
