Job Description

Cavalier Logistics, a premier provider of global transportation, logistics, and warehousing services, is currently seeking a Branch Manager to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. Cavalier provides exceptional service in the areas of General cargo, Government services, and BioPharma services. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized and have a proven management track record of supervising and interacting well with others. Excellent customer service and leadership skills are a must.

Responsibilities Include:
• Oversee all operational processes and services, maintain superior customer service relationship with new and existing accounts.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the company's specialty services, internal resources, competitive strategies, and customer requirements.
• Oversee quotes to overseas agents in timely and efficient manner, oversee rate filing and FMC compliance knowledge.
• Make sound decisions regarding the branch budget, expenses, costs, and overall profitability.
• Consistently oversee the freight from origination to destination and take responsibility for any problems, solving them constructively and rapidly
• Review of shipment processing, banking documents, routing and carrier selection, quotations, rate structure, routing alternative, DGR documents, etc.
• Deliver clear expectations to team members, promote a positive work environment that is challenging and engaging, and proactively address concerns, conflicts, and interactions with team members

• Thorough knowledge of domestic, import and export processes and regulations.
• Management experience within the industry.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
